“Married to Medicine” season nine premieres Sunday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
Returning this season are Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, Quad Webb, Toya Bush Harris and Anila Sajja. Miss Quad Webb returns this season as part of the main cast.
New friend Audra Frimpong joins the ladies as a real estate lawyer with a rich Ghanaian heritage and strong personality and is engaged to Dr Martin Curry.

Dr. Jackie is on a serious mission to enter a new phase of her best life. Her dream home is over, her friendship with Dr. Simone is rekindled, and with her medical practice in overdrive for the first time, she plans to hang up her coat as a full-time doctor to transition into business magnate status. While Dr. Jackie has shared most of her plans with her husband Curtis, and while he’s on board…their expensive lifestyle is cause for pause. Will Dr. Jackie really be able to let go and slow down or will she fill the void with more business ventures?
Dr. Heavenly embraces her two greatest passions again – expanding her empire and trying to keep her family close – but while she tries to balance her practice, Dr. Damon’s practice, the opening of her new product store of beauty and the preparation of her daughter Alaura to go to university, it is in her hair. Also in the friendship department, Heavenly’s bond with Contessa and some of the ladies needs fixing after her social media posts left everyone staring at her. As Heavenly tries to pick up the pieces, can she mend her relationships and get things back on track?
Dr Simone is moving in the right direction, although she admitted to being ‘on the little boat’ last year, she has now disembarked for good. His friendship with Dr. Jackie took on a fresh start. She is in a very happy and loving place with her husband Cecil. They have a new business and are ready to put everything on the table to help others by writing a book. Dr. Simone and Cecil are aiming to MAKE it on the next bestseller list, only if they can get through the writing process in one piece.
Dr. Contessa is at a crossroads in her life and is determined not to live in confusion anymore. Dr. Contessa and Dr. Scott work to get their relationship mutually agreed. She also ventures into physical training to compete in a bikini body competition and with her personal life in desperate need of resuscitation, Contessa has grown distant from many of her closest friends, including Dr. Heavenly. Will finding her beauty queen body give her the confidence to finally defend herself in her marriage?
Miss Quad has arrived and is living out her champagne wishes and caviar dreams at her new multi-million dollar home that she bought on her own. Quad is not an empty nest as she moves in with her mother and her clever 6-year-old nephew, Mason. His life quickly went from an easy-going single life to a house full of family, homework reviews, and chaos in the blink of an eye. She wears many responsibility hats while trying to make time for a dip in the dating pool.
Toya has had the weight of life on her shoulders for the past year and she is ready to shake off the negativity and move on. She and Dr. Eugene have temporarily moved into a new home while they look to build their next forever home. Toya is also working on mending friendships and her marriage to Dr. Eugene which will be tested when a whirlwind of rumors begin to spread.
Anila finds some normality with her husband, Dr. Kiran’s practice is back in full swing and the construction of their house is finally finished. With the sudden departure of their longtime nanny, Anila and Dr. Kiran agree to consider moving her parents in to help with the kids, but at what cost and on what terms? And after a traumatic burglary at her new home, Anila must pick up the pieces and choose between friend and foe.
