Here is a transcript of the video.

Nico Reyes: I have tried a lot of hair removal methods, but never roll-on wax. This is the Parissa Organic Sugar Roll-on Wax, and it’s supposed to give you the perfect thin layers of wax every time. It actually comes with two different sized rollers, a smaller one for the face and a larger one for the body.

First, I have to go heat the wax in the microwave for 20 seconds. I want to start with my legs first, so let’s tie up the bigger roll, then I have to let it sit upside down for 20 seconds. Just to make sure the wax actually comes out of this thing, I’m just going to roll it over my hand a bit and see what happens. Oh my God, it’s coming out! Check it out! [gasps] It’s like a perfect little rectangle!

It is not the best. I feel like I can still see a bunch of little hairs that remain. I also feel like I go through these strips very quickly, which if you’ve ever used, say, sugar paste, that’s all you need, and you just apply it to the skin. with your hands. I just ran out of all the tapes that came with the wax roll, but bought backups.

It is an exhausting process. No wonder I don’t epilate myself. The box says mess-free salon results, but I feel like I have this stuff all over the place. I’m, like, completely clingy at this point.

I don’t think it went well, but let’s see if it works better when I try to pluck my mustache. I swear nothing happened. I see nothing. Let’s try again. I just washed my face. I washed everything off my face. There is no oil. There is no moisturizer. There is nothing on my face right now. I just cleaned it and it’s dry. So I don’t know why, why is nothing happening?

I feel like I started to really like this product, because it was so easy to create those perfect wax layers, but the longer you use it, obviously the wax gets colder and more, and everything freezes on the roll and makes it so hard for you to get some sort of even layer. It might work for you if you had thinner, thinner hair than me, as my hair is obviously thicker and coarser, and that left a lot behind. So, I think with that, plus all the sticky mess I was left with and all the bands I had to use, I don’t really think it’s worth it, and there are definitely more hair removal methods out there. effective that you should try.
